Within the scope of the activity A.1.1.5. “Develop the Standards and Principles for the Establishment of an Effective Human Resources Management System in Local Administrations”, a pilot visit was conducted to Safranbolu Municipality on 10-11 February 2022. In the pilot study carried out to develop suggestions for improving the legislative framework regulating human resources management in local administrations, the Principles and Standards Report prepared within the scope of the project was presented and the opinions of the participants on the principles and standards and their suggestions for the legislation were received. UNDP Project Team, representatives of the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, senior management and all of the heads of department of the Safranbolu Municipality participated in the meeting. Legislation-oriented problems and suggestions were also discussed at the meeting on the basis of 6 standards. As a result of the pilot studies, a recommendations report to improve legislative framework regulating human resources management in local administrations will be prepared.
