Within the scope of the activity A.1.1.5. “Develop the Standards and Principles for the Establishment of an Effective Human Resources Management System in Local Administrations”, a pilot visit was conducted to Sivas Special Provincial Administration and Sivas Municipality on 17-18 February 2022. In the pilot study carried out to develop suggestions for improving the legislative framework regulating human resources management in local administrations, the Principles and Standards Report prepared within the scope of the project was presented and the opinions of the participants on the principles and standards and their suggestions for the legislation were received. UNDP Project Team, representatives of the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, senior management and all of the heads of department of the Sivas Municipality and Sivas Special Provincial Administration participated in the meeting. In the meeting in which the Secretary General of Sivas Special Provincial Administration, Mr. Kadir Algın also participated, legislation-oriented problems and suggestions were discussed on the basis of 6 standards. As a result of the pilot studies, a recommendations report to improve legislative framework regulating human resources management in local administrations will be prepared.
