Within the scope of the activity A.1.1.5. “Develop the Standards and Principles for the Establishment of an Effective Human Resources Management System in Local Administrations”, a pilot visit was conducted to Kahramanmaraş Metropolitan Municipality on 17-19 January 2022. In the pilot study carried out to develop suggestions for improving the legislative framework regulating human resources management in local administrations, the Principles and Standards Report prepared within the scope of the project was presented and the opinions of the participants on the principles and standards and their suggestions for the legislation were received. Within the scope of the visit, a meeting was held with Kahramanmaraş Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mr. Hayrettin Güngör, as well as a meeting was organized with the relevant department managers of the municipality on the basis of 6 standards and their suggestions were received. In the scope of the program, the human resources management system of Kahramanmaraş Metropolitan Municipality was also analysed.
