Within the scope of the activity A.1.1.8. “Development of Performance Management System in Metropolitan and Metropolitan District Municipalities”, in line with the target of preparing the budgets of local authorities in accordance with the performance-based program budget system, the Program Budget Working Group Meeting was held with the participation of representatives of the beneficiary institutions, the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change and the Ministry of Interior in particular, Presidency of Strategy and Budget, Union of Municipalities of Turkey, metropolitan municipalities, district municipalities, special provincial administrations, water and sewerage administrations on 22-23 December 2021. Through the meeting, it was aimed to receive the opinions and contributions of the representatives of the relevant institutions involved in the budget preparation process within the scope of the “Performance-Based Program Budget Preparation Guide”.
