Within the scope of the pilot studies of the activity A.2.2.2. “Develop and Implement Participatory Local Governance Model for new 14 MM”, an online meeting was held on 24 February 2022 with the participation of the representatives of the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, Financial Services Department of the Trabzon Metropolitan Municipality, Trabzon Citizens’ Assembly, Strategy Development Department of the Akçaabat Municipality, Akçaabat Citizens’ Assembly and Ortahisar Citizens’ Assembly. In the meeting, the current situation of the participatory mechanisms at the local level was discussed, the main problems, needs, opportunities and current experiences were evaluated and it was aimed to determine the discussion and preparatory studies on the topic to be selected for the pilot studies.
