Within the scope of the “A.1.1.1. Establish a Support Group on Legislation Drafting Process of MoI and MoEU (SGLDP) and Consultative Group of Local Authorities (CGLA)”, the “6th Meeting of SGLDP and CGLA” was held online on 23 December 2020 with the participation of central institutions and governmental organizations, as well as the Metropolitan Municipalities and some District Municipalities which are the members of the SGLDP and CGLA. In the meeting, the presentations of the Comparative Assessment Report prepared by our experts within the scope of the activity “A.1.1.7. Develop a comparative assessment on effective collection of municipal accounts receivable” and Comparative Assessment Report, as well as the Recommendations Report on Increasing the Income of Local Authorities prepared by our experts in the scope of the activity “A.1.1.3. Develop recommendations for the development of a draft legislation for increasing the income of local authorities in line with other country experiences” were made and recommendations on the legislative amendment proposals developed in the scope of the reports were discussed and the evaluations of the participants were taken.
