11 November 2020 – 5th Meeting of SGLDP and CGLA

Within the scope of the “A.1.1.1. Establish a Support Group on Legislation Drafting Process of MoI

and MoEU (SGLDP) and Consultative Group of Local Authorities (CGLA)”, the “5th Meeting of

SGLDP and CGLA” was held online on 11 November 2020 with the participation of central

institutions and governmental organizations, as well as the Metropolitan Municipalities and some

District Municipalities which are the members of the SGLDP and CGLA. In the meeting, in order to

provide a general briefing related to project activities, a presentation regarding the activities and

outputs carried out as of the end of September 2020, as well as the ongoing and upcoming activities

and the expected outputs in the following 6-month period. Also, the summary presentation of the

report prepared by our experts within the scope of the activity “A.1.1.4. Develop recommendations for

amendment of the relevant provisions of the Law No: 3572 and Regulation for Business License” was

made and the legislative amendment proposals developed in the scope of the report recommendations

were discussed and the evaluations of the participants were taken.
