Within the scope of the development of a full comparative assessment study on the functioning of local auhorities ”, five service areas have been determined by considering the suggestions made in the workshop held on 23-24 May 2020 and local service delivery in 6 European Union countries (Germany, England, France, Denmark, Spain and Bulgaria) were scrutinized. Selected municipal service areas;
(1) Fire services,
(2) Domestic Solid Waste Services,
(3) Public Transport Services,
(4) Services for the Disabled and
(5) Day Care and Nursery Services.
The draft “Comparative Assessment and Current Situation Analysis Report” prepared by experts was presented at the workshop on 23 July 2019 and evaluated by members of the Support Group of Legislation Drafting Process and Consultative Group of Local Authorities.
